Uses:
Relieving redness due to minor eye irritation.

Occuzoline eye drops is a decongestant. It works by constricting swollen blood vessels in the eye, which reduces redness. Irritants cause blood vessels to swell.

Contact your doctor or health care provider immediately if any of these apply to you.

Do NOT use Occuzoline eye drops if:

you are allergic to any ingredient in tetrahydrozoline eye drops
you are taking furazolidone or have taken a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor (eg, phenelzine) within the last 14 days
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Side Effects:

Ocular

Ocular side effects have included blurred vision, irritation, mydriasis, conjunctival hyperemia, and blepharoconjunctivitis. Conjunctival application, especially when high concentrations have been used in the elderly, may liberate pigment granules, presumably from the iris.

Nervous system

Nervous system side effects associated with ocular sympathomimetic agents have included headache, tremor, trembling, dizziness, nervousness, and drowsiness.

Cardiovascular

Cardiovascular side effects have rarely included palpitations, hypertension, and bradycardia.
