Has anyone heard about the use of cloramphenicol over the counter -antibiotic eye drops - commonly used to treat conjunctivitis as a first line therapy for infected ingrowing nails in healthy patients? I had been informed by another podiatrist that it was acceptable for use but havent been able to find any details anywhere.
