Time is running out to save money through early bird registration to attend the 31st annual American Society of Radiologic Technologists Radiation Therapy Conference, Oct. 28-30, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. The conference is the premier event for radiation therapy and medical dosimetry professionals to join their colleagues along with vendors and recruiters in the industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to obtain their continuing education credits by attending courses that will cover topics ranging from molecular imaging to getting published in peer-reviewed journals to new technologies and treatments.

Conference attendees also will have the opportunity to hear Sanjiv Sam Gambhir, M.D., Ph.D., as the keynote speaker. Dr. Gambhir is the director of the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford University where he oversees the activities of more than 20 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and more than 75 scientists. The general session will feature David G. Jensen, M.S., president of S3 Inc. and senior lecturer in executive education at Emory University. Mr. Jensen motivates and inspires his audiences intellectually and emotionally with compelling anecdotes and humor.

Finally, attendees will have the opportunity to visit "the city of angels." One of the most popular destination spots for travelers in the world, Los Angeles is known for its sunny weather, beaches, shopping and, of course, stargazing in Hollywood.

Those who don't register by the July 9 deadline can still save up to $75 by registering on or before Sept. 21 through advance registration. Attendees from the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the Society for Radiation Oncology Administrators meetings can also receive a discount to attend the ASRT Radiation Therapy Conference.
