We assume that each space is a box in shape.
The masses can be developed from:
1- Ant. wall Ant. abdominal wall.
2- Post. wall Retroperitoneal tissues.
3- From above Kidney, liver, gall bladder, spleen (in Rt. side).
Kidney, spleen (in Lt. side).
4- From below Ovaries.
5- From the Center.



Rt. iliac fossa
1- Appendicular mass
2- CA. caecum.
3- Crohn's disease.
4- Hyperplastic iliocaecal T.B


Lt. iliac fossa
1- Diverticulitis.
2- CA. Lt. Colon
3- Bilharzial pericolic mass.
