Krema Tablets Composition:
Each vaginal tablet contains:
Clotrimazole 100 mg
Krema Tablets Properties:
KREMA ROSA vaginal tablets [clotrirnazole] is an imidazole antifungal active against Candida sp., including C.albicans. KREMA ROSA interferes with ergosterol synthesis and therefore alters the permeability of the cell membrane of sensitive fungi, causing death of fungal cells.
Krema Tablets Pharmacokinetics:
Clotrimazole appears to be minimally absorbed following vaginal administration. It is metabolized in the liver to inactive compounds and excreted in the faeces and urine.
Krema Tablets Indications:
– Treatment of susceptible fungal infections :
– Vulva-vaginal moniliasis or candidiasis.
– Symptomatic treatment of trichomonas vaginalis when other drugs
are contraindicated.
Krema Tablets Dosage and Administration:
One tablet should be inserted intra vaginally once daily, at bedtime for 6 successive days.
Krema Tablets Instructions for use of the Applicator:
1- Pull the plunger outwards till the end.
2- Release a tablet from the strip and put It on the tip of the applicator.
3- While in reclining position, gently insert the blunt end into the vulva till the end.
4- Push the plunger to release the tablet.
Krema Tablets Precautions:
KREMA ROSA should be used with caution in pregnancy or lactation. During pregnancy, do not use the applicator; manual insertion is preferable.
– Avoid sources of infection or reinfection.
-Intravaginal preparation of clotrimazole may damege latex contraceptives {e.g. condornsl.Concurrent use (within 72 hours) is not recommended.
– The effect is temporary and occurs only during treatment.
Krema Tablets Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the product.
Krema Tablets Side Effects:
Local irritation and burning sensation may occur.
Krema Tablets Storage:
Store at temp. not exceeding 30° C.
Krema Tablets How Supplied:
Pack or 6 vaginal tablets + an applicator.
